By focusing on a sports complex/community center, we believe that the local communities will be greatly impacted. The positive economic impact will be felt enormously from the annual 100,000 to 200,000 guest driving into the local area, increase sales for area restaurants and other businesses, various cultural attractions in the area, surrounding hotels, hospitality industry, creating or sustaining jobs in the community and bringing vitality into the community. The facility will be a destination spot, advancing the area into a new phase of economic and community development as it relates to athletic competition.
Who Got Game Academy has trained over 3,000 aspiring and emerging athletes since 2008, through 3 on 3 tournaments, camps, AAU tournaments, basketball combine events, and individual athletic training. Currently, our program funding is provided by corporate sponsors and registration fees. We provide youth personal development and educational workshops to provide an opportunity for higher educational assistance, access, and exposure to resources the youth might not otherwise have access to. The project is expected to draw other land tenants with plans for a franchised swimming company and a football facility built by a former professional football player.
